We pair that foundation with PVD coating, an advanced process that bonds the gold finish at a molecular level for a harder, more wear resistant surface than traditional plating. We also hold the line on coating thickness. Our PVD layer is 1.5 microns, while many competitors typically sit around 0.3 to 0.5 microns. That difference matters!
